I received this as a Christmas gift and I really like the looks of it! I currently use the AC adaptor instead of batteries. my grandkids love the light saber sound and music. I don't use it as an alarm clock, but be aware, as others have noted it's noisy even with the volume turned down completely. the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the clock setting is not intuitive.
